EDMONTON, September 15, 2020 – Health Gauge is one of a select group of companies participating in the 2020 Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Science (CELS) program – a program that provides a unique opportunity for Canadian life science startups to grow and scale 10-20 times faster through a combination of world-class expertise, capital, and connections in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley.  

Through the CELS accelerator, Canadian startups receive 1:1 coaching with esteemed mentors, exclusive webinars and workshops, as well as meetings and pitch opportunities with the CELS program’s influential network of Silicon Valley and US investors, executive leaders, successful founders, and accelerators.

Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Sciences (CELS) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the expansion of Canadian life science startups into the San Fransico Bay Area and Silicon Valley. The organization acts as a resource community and provides leading expertise, mentorship, and connections to Silicon Valley investors and strategic partners to advance innovations in life sciences and help on the path to commercialization.  

The CELS Valley Ready (VR) program is a 5-month virtual program that helps Canadian life science companies achieve their objectives in Silicon Valley.  Through its extensive resources and supports the CELS program helps Canadian life science startups achieve the “three C’s” necessary to succeed in the Bay Area: community, connections, and capital.  The goal of the CELS program is to help Canadian-based life science startups enter the US market and raise capital through its extensive resources, supports, and connections.
